Larissa Figueiredo is a filmmaker and educator from Brasília, Brazil. Her films are hybrids of fiction and documentary, made through processes of shared invention with the people and territories she encounters. Besides her own projects, she collaborates with other filmmakers on the writing and editing of films, series and art projects, and teaches film courses and workshops. She works in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish, remotely, from an editing room in the Serra da Mantiqueira mountains, and in person, coming and going between different cities.
